Baseball Game Preview: Hope Blue Wave vs. Classical Purple

Hope is 0-6 against Classical since May of 2017 but things could change on Wednesday. The Blue Wave will challenge the Purple at 4:00 p.m. Classical took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Hope, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Hope made easy work of Blackstone Valley Prep and carried off a 9-2 victory.

Meanwhile, Classical was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Exeter-West Greenwich, falling 14-1.

Classical's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Hope, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Hope might still be hurting after the 8-1 defeat they got from Classical in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Blue Wave avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
