Mason Sterling was a major factor in Humboldt's victory over Bluestem on Friday. Sterling turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 104 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also picking up 57 receiving yards and one TD. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Humboldt is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Sterling and Humboldt will challenge West Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Sterling took on the Falcons, he rushed for 129 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries, and also picked up 73 receiving yards and two TDs.
