Volleyball Recap: Flintridge Prep's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Flintridge Prep's tournament run continued when they took on Buckley on Saturday. The Wolves fell 2-0 to the Griffins. The loss put an end to the Wolves' undefeated start to the season.

While Flintridge Prep was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23.

Makayla Jones paced Flintridge Prep's offense, picking up 11 kills. Jones were helped by Kaitlin Ransford and Penny Smith, who contributed seven assists each.

Having lost for the first time this season, Flintridge Prep fell to 3-1. As for Buckley, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Flintridge Prep has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Bishop Alemany on the 16th. As for Buckley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against AGBU on the 18th.
