V.R. Eaton won the last time they faced Reedy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

V.R. Eaton never let Reedy on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-18.

V.R. Eaton's offense was headlined by Lexi Martin and Landri Trice, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Keely DePauw and her 11 assists. Trice was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Paige Hawkinson and Graice Wade certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Hawkinson had 12 assists and six digs, while Wade had seven digs and one assist. Hawkinson is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

V.R. Eaton's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Reedy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

V.R. Eaton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Grand Oaks on the 21st. As for Reedy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Cleburne on the 21st.
