Basketball Game Preview: Rosamond Roadrunners vs. North Stars + Official Tickets

Having just played yesterday, the Rosamond Roadrunners will jump right back in to play the North Stars at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rosamond barely beat Desert the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Roadrunners simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Scorpions 52-16. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Roadrunners had established a 28-point advantage.

Rosamond found their leader in sophomore Jaylen Lopez, who posted 21 points. The Roadrunners are 4-2 when Lopez posts 15 or more points, but 1-2 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Washington, who earned seven points.

Meanwhile, North earned a 61-53 win over Mililani on Saturday.

Rosamond is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points over those games. As for North, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
