Volleyball Recap: Hinsdale Central Comes Up Short

Hinsdale Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Genesee Valley Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Hinsdale Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Genesee Valley, with the victory, they broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 2-6.

Coincidentally, Hinsdale Central and Genesee Valley will both be playing Bolivar-Richburg the next time they take the court. The Bobcats will host the Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Jaguars will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
