Basketball Recap: Newaygo Takes a Loss

Newaygo was the 67-58 winner over Orchard View when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Newaygo Lions took a 70-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Orchard View Cardinals.

Newaygo's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Orchard View, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lions take on the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Orchard View, they will face off against Ludington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
