Soccer Recap: Wayne Christian Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Wayne Christian duked it out with Epiphany on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Falcons, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for Wayne Christian in their meetings with Epiphany: they've now lost four in a row.

Wayne Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Epiphany, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne Christian will host Arendell Parrott Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Epiphany, they will challenge Greenfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greenfield will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Epiphany surely won't give up without a fight.
