Edison Academy waltzed into their match on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Communication Media Arts Pharaohs by a score of 7-3.

Edison Academy pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Communication Media Arts, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edison Academy will venture away from home to take on Trillium Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Trillium Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.17 runs per game on average), something Edison Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Communication Media Arts, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East English Village Prep at 4:30 p.m. on May 5.
