Basketball Recap: Paradise Valley's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Paradise Valley waltzed into their game on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Kellis Cougars by a score of 61-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Paradise Valley has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.1 points per game. As for Kellis, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paradise Valley will challenge Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Horizon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Paradise Valley likes a good challenge. As for Kellis, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Kellis Cougars face off against the Willow Canyon Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Willow Canyon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 74.3 points per game this season.
