Weeping Water's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kalison Miller, who scored 10 points along with 5 steals. Ella Cave was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Weeping Water's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Auburn, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Weeping Water will take on Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer at TBD on Saturday. As for Auburn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Malcolm at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
