Truckee is a perfect 10-0 against Sparks since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wolverines will head out on the road to square off against the Railroaders at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Truckee is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Carson just ended the team's 14-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Senators by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Sparks came up short against Wooster on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Railroaders haven't had much luck with the Colts recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Sparks was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 25-16.

Truckee's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Sparks, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Everything went Truckee's way against Sparks in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Truckee made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Railroaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
