Recap: Greenback Cherokees vs. Loudon Redskins
The Greenback Cherokees lost against the Loudon Redskins back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Greenback took a 61-42 bruising from Loudon.
Despite the loss, Greenback saw an underclassman step up: Elizabeth Davis scored 19 points. Davis continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Emory McDonell was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Greenback's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Loudon, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Greenback will head out on the road to face off against Oliver Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Loudon, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Sweetwater at 6:00 p.m. Sweetwater is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
