Basketball Preview: Kimball Knights vs. Adamson Leopards
Kimball is 10-0 against the Leopards since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Kimball Knights will head out on the road to take on the Adamson Leopards at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After a string of seven wins, Kimball's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. The match between them and White wasn't particularly close, with Kimball falling 67-48.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jaylin Hancock, who scored 11 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Jaylon Dean-vines, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Adamson's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight defeat. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 53-29 walloping at the hands of Molina. Adamson was down 44-16 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Kimball's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-12. As for Adamson, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-18.
Everything came up roses for Kimball against the Leopards in their previous matchup back in January as the squad secured a 85-13 win. With Kimball ahead 64-8 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
