ALA - Gilbert North and Basha squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but ALA - Gilbert North had to settle for second. They lost 82-58 to the Basha Bears. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Basha to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kingston Montague, who shot 47% from the field to rack up 23 points. That's the most points Montague has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lleyton Leonard, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 15 boards.

ALA - Gilbert North's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Basha, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

ALA - Gilbert North has already played their next game, a 63-58 win against Saguaro on the 26th. As for Basha, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-59 victory against Deer Valley on the 21st.
