Volleyball Recap: Burlingame's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Burlingame had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Half Moon Bay Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 2nd.

While Burlingame won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-20.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Burlingame to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addie Uhrich, who had eight digs and four aces. That's the most aces Uhrich has posted since back in September.

Uhrich wasn't the only good servers: Burlingame was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in five consecutive matches.

Burlingame's win bumped their record up to 18-13. As for Half Moon Bay, they dropped their record down to 13-16 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Burlingame nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
