Gravette entered their tilt with Pea Ridge on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Blackhawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since October 1, 2024.

Gravette took Pea Ridge into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 21-25, 21-25, 15-10.

Emma Renfrow paced Gravette's offense, picking up 20 kills. Renfrow got some help from Adalyn Jones and her 27 assists. Renfrow was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Gravette's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Pea Ridge, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Coming up, Gravette will challenge Prairie Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pea Ridge, they will face off against Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
