Basketball Recap: Sioux Valley Takes a Loss

Sioux Valley suffered their biggest defeat since February 5, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Hamlin Chargers, falling 59-39. The loss continues a trend for the Cossacks in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now lost three in a row.

Sioux Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Hamlin, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Sioux Valley will host McCook Central/Montrose at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hamlin, they will head out to take on Webster at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hamlin knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Webster likes a good challenge.
