Baseball Recap: Bagdad Comes Up Short

Bagdad lost to Anthem Prep back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sultans lost 17-4 to the Eagles. The Sultans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kellan Murphy was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Bagdad: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 8-9 otherwise.

Bagdad's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Anthem Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.
