Volleyball Recap: Griswold Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Griswold won the last time they faced Bacon Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wolverines walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bobcats.

Griswold had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-9.

Carly Rubino had a dynamite game, getting 19 digs and one assist.

Griswold was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in ten consecutive matches.

Griswold's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. As for Bacon Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
