Baseball Game Preview: Redwood Rangers vs. Bradshaw Christian Pride

The Redwood Rangers will be taking part in a tournament against the Bradshaw Christian Pride at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Redwood 2.9, Bradshaw Christian 0.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Redwood is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Davis Sr. just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Rangers have suffered since February 28th.

Meanwhile, Bradshaw Christian put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with an 8-5 win over Clovis.

Landon Carter was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Evan Fujii-Sisler was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Redwood's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Bradshaw Christian, their victory was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-0.

Redwood couldn't quite get it done against Bradshaw Christian in their previous matchup back in April of 2022 as they fell 10-6. Can the Rangers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
