Volleyball Game Preview: Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks vs. Orlando Science Orcas

The Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks will challenge the Orlando Science Orcas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Orlando Science took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Cornerstone Charter Academy, who comes in off a win.

While Cornerstone Charter Academy has struggled at home with four straight losses, that wasn't the case on Thursday thanks to Liam Dinsmore. Cornerstone Charter Academy came out on top against Pinecrest Lakes Prep by a score of 3-1 for which the team can thank Dinsmore, who had ten digs and two aces. Those two aces gave him a new career-high.

In the three sets Cornerstone Charter Academy was on fire: they won each by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-9, 24-26, 25-3.

Meanwhile, Orlando Science came up short against Trinity Prep on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Orlando Science took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-9, 25-10.

Cornerstone Charter Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Orlando Science, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
