            Basketball Recap: Station Camp Bison vs. Springfield Yellow Jackets        
        
		
        
        
            Station Camp was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They were five  points away from ending the streak, but they lost a  59-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Springfield Yellow Jackets. The Bison were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellow Jackets apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in November of 2023.
 Leading Springfield to victory were  Xavionna Farmer and  Taleah Patterson.  Farmer  went 7 of 13  on her way to 16 points and four  steals, while  Patterson  went 7 of 13  on her way to 18  points and five  rebounds. Patterson continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last five games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Camoni Gray, who  posted 14  points.
Station Camp's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Springfield,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 10-6.
 Station Camp will head out to  square off against Gallatin  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Springfield, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Northwest  at 6:00  p.m.
