Recap: Mohave Accelerated Patriots vs. River Valley Dust Devils
The Mohave Accelerated Patriots waltzed into Tuesday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 59-47 win over River Valley. That's another feather in the cap for Mohave Accelerated, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Mohave Accelerated found their leader in underclassman OWEN HONNEGER, who scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was JERRY KELTNER, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
River Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Boice, who scored 4 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nash Hanrahan, who scored 15 points.
Mohave Accelerated's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for River Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
