            Softball Recap: Design Tech Dragons vs. Harker Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Design Tech entered their  matchup against Harker  on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Dragons fell  12-7 to the Eagles. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

 Jeneva Fletcher put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she  pitched two innings while giving up just one earned  (and four unearned) runs off   one  hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
 Fletcher wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Ella Lewis, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Lewis is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last four games she's  played.  Angelica Soto was another,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple.
Design Tech suffered their first home  loss, dropping their record down to 5-5. As for Harker, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
 Looking ahead, Design Tech will face off against Luis Valdez Leadership Academy at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Harker, they will challenge Hill at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.22  runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
