Basketball Recap: Jemez Valley Takes a Loss

Jemez Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 72-36 loss at the hands of the Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls.

Brody Prochnow continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Oak Grove Classical Academy, putting up 22 points. Prochnow has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last three times he's played. Jonas Saiz was another key player, earning 11 points.

Jemez Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Oak Grove Classical Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

Jemez Valley has already played their next matchup (against Wingate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Oak Grove Classical Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Cottonwood Classical Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oak Grove Classical Academy has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 205 points over their last three contests.
