Baseball Recap: Polytechnic Starts Season with Win on the Road

Polytechnic had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They won by a run and slipped past the De Toledo Jaguars 9-8. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jaguars on Tuesday, too.

Alejandro KohnRabassa was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Alex Chui was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Looking ahead, Polytechnic will be taking part in a tournament against Palm Springs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for de Toledo, they will host St. Monica at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
