Baseball Game Preview: Woodstock Academy Centaurs vs. Ellis RVT Eagles

The Woodstock Academy Centaurs will head out on the road to face off against the Ellis RVT Eagles at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Woodstock Academy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

On Saturday, Woodstock Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Rockville, taking the game 5-2.

Logan Coutu spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Will Bushey was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Caleb Simoneau was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Ellis RVT didn't have quite enough to beat Windham on Thursday and fell 4-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodstock Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Ellis RVT, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
