Basketball Recap: Edwards County Comes Up Short

Edwards County has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 64-55 to the Marshall Lions on Monday. Edwards County lost against Marshall in their previous head to head back in January of 2016, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 71-31 score last time.

Edwards County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Marshall, their win bumped their record up to 16-13.

Edwards County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 66-29 victory against Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine on the 13th. Marshall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
