Recap: Notre Dame Prep Saints vs. Desert Mountain Wolves
The Notre Dame Prep Saints scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 98-83 win over Desert Mountain. Winning may never get old, but Notre Dame Prep sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Notre Dame Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brennan Peterson, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points and 4 assists. Anthony Batson jr. was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with three steals and two blocks.
Notre Dame Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. As for Desert Mountain, their loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Chaparral the next time they take the court. Desert Mountain will host Chaparral at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Notre Dame Prep will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
