While Mooresville's victory against West Cabarrus wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blue Devils narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Wolverines 5-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Blue Devils, who have now won three matches in a row.
Connor Park tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.
