While Mooresville's victory against West Cabarrus wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blue Devils narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Wolverines 5-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Blue Devils, who have now won three matches in a row.

Connor Park tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Luke Modrak was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Gavin Barber was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Mooresville's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for West Cabarrus, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.

As of now, neither Mooresville nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
