Soccer Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Christ Covenant Spartans. While losing is never fun, Trinity Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 485th, while Christ Covenant are ranked 213th).

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Christ Covenant, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 4-4-1.

Trinity Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bethel Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Christ Covenant, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Faith Christian Academy on the 9th.
