Basketball Recap: Woodbury Central Takes a Loss

Woodbury Central suffered their biggest loss since February 12, 2024 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove Falcons and fell 71-44. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 257th, while the Falcons are ranked 78th).

Woodbury Central now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
