Softball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Reavis' Sixth in Last Eight Outings

Reavis hadn't done well against Richards recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rams came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 6-1. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Bulldogs two weeks ago, they had to take a 9-1 loss.

Reavis has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Richards, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Reavis will challenge rival Thornton Fractional South at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Richards is set to take on their familiar foe Hillcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
