Commerce snaps eight-game streak of wins on the road

Recap: Commerce Tigers vs. Edgewood Bulldogs
The Commerce Tigers were the 62-46 winner over the Edgewood Bulldogs when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Commerce took a 43-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Edgewood on Thursday. Commerce has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.
Edgewood was led to victory by Kassidy Paul and Blair McPherson. Paul scored 13 points, while McPherson scored 18 points.
Commerce's loss ended a eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-7. As for Edgewood, they pushed their record up to 20-8 with that win, which was their 19th straight at home.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Prairiland the next time they take the court. Commerce will host Prairiland at 6:50 p.m. on Friday, while Edgewood will host them at 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday.
