Basketball Recap: McCreary Central Comes Up Short

McCreary Central was the 46-44 winner over Clay County when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The McCreary Central Raiders lost 71-50 to the Clay County Tigers on Tuesday.

McCreary Central dropped their record down to 9-13 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Clay County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-10-1.

Coming up, McCreary Central will take on Williamsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. McCreary Central is facing Williamsburg at the right time seeing as Williamsburg is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Clay County, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers duke it out with the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
