Basketball Recap: Lafayette Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Lafayette can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They took down the West Point Green Wave 67-53. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-39 back in December of 2024.

The win got Lafayette back to even at 10-10. As for West Point, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lafayette won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lewisburg at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for West Point, they and West Lowndes will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
