No one traveled farther than Jordan Fuller, but it was worth the trip for the 6-foot-2, 210-pound defensive back from Northern Valley (Old Tappan, N.J.).

The do-everything athlete was the most impressive defensive player at The Opening Oakland Regional camp in San Leandro (Calif.) Sunday, according to 247Sports Scouting Director Barton Simmons.

Of Fuller, the No. 10 athlete in the nation according to 247Sports, Simmons wrote:
Fuller was one of the top defensive backs throughout the day in every drill. He has unique size and outstanding athletic ability that translates at defensive back. His performance earned Fuller an invite to The Opening finals and a spot on the U.S. Army All-American Bowl roster.
Most of the approximate 500 athletes were from the Western United States, including seven from California who made Simmons' other Top 10 list.

They included Serra (Gardena) defensive end Oluwole Betiku, Loyola (Los Angeles) cornerback David Long, Pittsburg cornerback Jordan Parker and Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland) linebacker Camilo Eifler, who recorded the day's top SPARQ rating of 116.85. The UCLA-bound standout recorded a remarkable vertical jump of 42.8 inches.

Of Betiku, a 6-3, 245-pounder, Simmons wrote:
Betiku is an absolute physical specimen and he's only been playing football for one year. It's pretty remarkable to think what this kid is capable of developing into. Penn State, UCLA, USC and Washington are among his favorites at the moment with more than 20 giving chase. Betiku earned an invite to The Opening Finals with his performance.
Of Parker, a 5-11, 185-pound junior who has committed to UCLA, Simmons wrote:
In terms of pure production, there may not have been a defender in attendance that matched Parker. He had several interceptions, got his hands on even more passes and was always around the football. Parker earned an invite to The Opening Finals with his efforts.
