Soccer Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

Mountain View lost to Austin back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lobos fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. Mountain View have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their goal came courtesy of Manny Higareda, which was the first he's scored this season.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Austin, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mountain View will take on rival Clint at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Austin is set to square off against their familiar foe Irvin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
