Preview: Howell Highlanders vs. Northville Mustangs
Howell has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Northville Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Michigan (Howell is ranked 116th, while Northville is ranked 140th).
Last Friday, Howell was able to grind out a solid win over Salem, taking the game 58-48.
Meanwhile, Northville unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to Plymouth.
Howell is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Northville, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 8-5.
Howell came up short against Northville in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 61-50. Can Howell avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
