Basketball Recap: Front Range Baptist Comes Up Short

Front Range Baptist lost to Lone Star back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons had to suffer through a 59-21 loss at the hands of the Longhorns. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Jade Kuntz, who dropped a triple-double with 17 points, ten rebounds, and 11 steals for Lone Star. Kuntz is becoming a predictor of the Longhorns' success: when she posts at least ten boards the team is 4-2 (and 3-6 when she doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Aimee Trejo, who posted eight points and 13 rebounds.

Front Range Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Lone Star, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8.

Front Range Baptist wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-35 loss against Peetz on the 14th. As for Lone Star, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-27 defeat against Fleming on the 17th.
