Baseball Recap: Mingo Central Comes Up Short

Mingo Central lost against Belfry back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Mingo Central came up short against Belfry, falling 16-1. The Miners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mingo Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Fields, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Mingo Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Belfry, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Mingo Central will head out to challenge Wyoming East at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Belfry, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Leslie County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
