Baseball Recap: Sonora Gets the Win

While Sonora's win against Woodrow Wilson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bruins 7-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Nathan Estrada looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Tucker Hunnicutt was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.

Sonora's record now sits at 9-5. As for Woodrow Wilson, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7.
