Volleyball Recap: Appleton West Comes Up Short

Appleton West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chilton Tigers. If the Terrors were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Appleton West's loss dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Chilton, with the win, they broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 10-9.

Appleton West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Hortonville on the 2nd. As for Chilton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Green Bay Southwest on the 27th.
