Softball Recap: Calhoun Comes Up Short

Calhoun managed to slip by Trevor Day the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars came up short against the Dragons on Friday, falling 22-1. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Calhoun and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Trevor Day, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Calhoun will head out to challenge Brooklyn Friends at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Trevor Day will be paying especially close attention to the Cougars' matchup: after the Cougars face off against the Quakers, they'll take on Trevor Day again at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
