Football Recap: Dover Comes Up Short

Dover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 36-6 loss at the hands of the Clarksville Panthers. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-0.

Dover's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Clarksville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Dover and Clarksville will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Pirates are set to take on their familiar foe Dardanelle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Clarksville will face off against rival Vilonia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
