It's playoff time, and George County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Terry Bulldogs 8-2 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Ben Davis, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.

George County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Terry, their defeat was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-21.

As of now, neither George County nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
