The St. Mary's Lancers fell victim to the Bishop Timon-St. Jude Tigers''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Tigers, falling 62-0. St. Mary's' defeat kept them winless this season.

Bishop Timon-St. Jude found their leader in underclassman Dominic Anzalone, who threw for 163 yards and four touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. James McNeil jr and his 85 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Bishop Timon-St. Jude's victory.
St. Mary's' loss was their third straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-5. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Bishop Timon-St. Jude, Eden/North Collins, and Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama. As for Bishop Timon-St. Jude, the win was the third in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
St. Mary's will be playing at home against Cardinal O'Hara at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New York (Cardinal O'Hara is ranked 520th, while St. Mary's is ranked 505th). As for Bishop Timon-St. Jude, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute comes in on a streak of failing to score more than seven points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
