Soccer Recap: North Buncombe Takes a Loss

After flying high against McDowell on Thursday, North Buncombe came back down to earth. The Black Hawks came up short against the Asheville Cougars on Monday, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Asheville this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in April.

North Buncombe moved to 9-9-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Asheville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3-1 record this season.
