It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Laramie Plainsmen had no problem doing just that on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 55-37 win over the Bison. The win was some much needed relief for Laramie as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Laramie got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bella Yates out in front who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. It was the first time this season that Yates scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Forry, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

Laramie's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for South, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 15 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Laramie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South, they will face off against Campbell County at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Campbell County will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something South surely won't give up without a fight.
